Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly, including email address, profile and social-handle information, event details, rewards, communications, and videos, audio, captions, metadata, or other content submitted through an event link.

We also collect device and browser details, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, referring pages, identifiers, logs, and activity such as pages viewed, buttons used, uploads, and errors. Payment providers may collect billing and payment-card information when paid features are enabled; Pyroblue does not receive full card numbers.

We use information to operate event pages, authenticate users, receive and process uploads, generate media derivatives, display submissions to hosts, provide support, analyze and improve the product, communicate service updates, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.

Guest uploads are shared with the host or organizer for the event associated with the upload link. Hosts are responsible for how they invite guests, describe the event, and use or share collected event content.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information to the host or organizer of the event to which content is submitted and to vendors that operate the service, including Supabase, Vercel, Railway, PostHog, Anypost, and Stripe as applicable. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, with your direction, or in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets.

We and our providers use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, event access, preferences, security, product analytics, and session replay. PostHog helps us understand interactions with Crowdsnap and diagnose problems. Browser controls may block some of these technologies, but doing so can prevent features from working.

Uploaded media is processed to store, transcode, display, and create derivatives or generated clips. We may use automated tools, including NudeNet-based analysis, to detect nudity or potentially prohibited content, and authorized personnel may review flagged material. Automated systems can make mistakes. Crowdsnap does not use face recognition to identify people.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide and secure Crowdsnap, honor host settings and deletion requests, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention depends on the data type, event lifecycle, account status, legal requirements, and backup schedules. Hosts may remove content through available controls, but deletion from backups and service-provider systems may take additional time.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may choose not to submit content, limit browser storage, or ask a host to remove an event submission. Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of personal data, or object to or restrict certain processing. Email apps@pyroblue.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where legally permitted.

Colorado residents may have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal data and to opt out of targeted advertising, sales, or certain profiling. Crowdsnap does not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. You may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision at apps@pyroblue.com with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. You may also contact the Colorado Attorney General's office.

Pyroblue and its providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries whose privacy laws may differ from those where you live. By using Crowdsnap, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in those locations, subject to applicable safeguards.

Crowdsnap is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
